Lovely water view & beach with interesting rock formations. Great host/owner. Enjoyed the deck/patio & good cottage. Next to well-stocked grocery store. Used as base to cycle coastal rail trail - well-maintained with km markers & picnic areas.

The property is stunning, with breathtaking views and beautiful gardens. the hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our cottage was clean, comfortable, and had a spacious deck with a gorgeous water view. We only stayed for a night, but we wished we had more time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. And to top it all off, the dinner we had at the property was absolutely outstanding! It was truly one of the best meals we have ever had, bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. a wonderful experience!
Hard to think of anything 🤔.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming little cottage in Cape Breton. the cozy atmosphere and cleanliness of Haus Treuburg Villa made for a comfortable stay. the owner's attention to detail was evident in the tasteful decor and well-maintained premises. the warm welcome I received after a long day of exploring the coastline was much appreciated. the cottage offered a beautiful view of the harbor and a nearby sandy beach was an added bonus. I would definitely choose to stay at this residence again in the future. Cons: Hard to think of anything 😊.

During my recent stay at a charming inn in the center of a picturesque town, I was truly delighted by the spacious suite I stayed in. The bedroom, sitting room, and huge bathroom were all spotlessly clean and provided ample space for relaxation. The innkeeper, Elvi, was incredibly welcoming and offered excellent advice on local attractions. I particularly enjoyed strolling along the shoreline and witnessing the breathtaking sunsets. The European-style breakfasts were a culinary delight, especially the assortment of delicious breads. I also had the pleasure of experiencing an exquisite dinner prepared by the talented chef, Georg, despite a power outage in the area. Another highlight was the outdoor chess set, featuring beautifully carved sea creatures. I definitely look forward to staying at this inn again when I revisit Cape Breton. I highly recommend this charming inn for a wonderful travel experience.

We had a lovely Christmas stay in a cozy cottage with a breathtaking water view. The cottage had a nice veranda where we could enjoy the beautiful scenery. It was well equipped with everything we needed, including a barbecue for cooking our meals. We also appreciated the convenience of having a grocery store nearby and the option to buy fresh fish from the fish co-op across the street.
We missed out on trying the restaurant due to our travel schedule. we found that the kitchen in the cottage lacked an oven, which limited our cooking options.

The location of this hotel was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was situated in a beautiful area, close to places to eat and with a lovely view of the water. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated with antique furniture, which added a nice touch. The fact that they offered a German breakfast, although for an extra cost, was an interesting option for those who enjoy trying different cuisines.
I must admit, my experience at this hotel was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. Despite the beautiful surroundings, I felt a certain sense of discomfort during my stay.

Helpful host, close to beach. Amazing sunset. Nice, large room. Homely atmosphere. Shy cat. Nicely decorated cottage with full amenities. Beautiful beach, supermarket, and fun bistro nearby. Gorgeous property, stunning views, and welcoming hosts. Delicious dinner. Easy check-in/out. Clean, comfortable cottage with spacious deck and water view. Large, clean rooms. Good breakfast for an additional charge. Friendly, albeit quiet, couple running B&B. Quiet location near highway.

We had an amazing stay at Haus Treuburg Villa. The hosts were extremely accommodating and the old Victorian house was beautifully maintained. The location by the beach was perfect and the small porch facing the sea was a lovely touch. The German-themed rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated with antiques. The highlight of our stay was definitely the delicious meal at the on-site restaurant. Georg, the cook, clearly has a passion for his craft. We would highly recommend Haus Treuburg for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
